This beautifully subdued set of Higo Fuchi Kashira had been made for a Tanto or small Wakizashi.
While the Fuchi’s copper base is covered with black lacquered crane leg‘s leather with a Ishime like structure the Kashira is done in deep black and glossy Shakudo with high rising waves. The relief is carefully executed and the wave’s heads are strongly pronounced in the typical manner of the 3rd Nishigaki master Kanshiro.
The set comes with a custom made box, Dai and cushion of dark blue silk.
