A Ko-Katchushi Tsuba with Sakura no zu design (cherry blossom). It has a high Uchi kaeshi mimi (rim), a punched surface, with signature maru-kyu (“09” maybe a magazine No.).
Comes with custom made box, labeled by Mr. Itô Mitsuru and NBTHK Hozon certificate attributed to Katchushi.
It is probably from middle or late Muromachi period (1450 – 1550).
